A message from our Executive Director:
Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Hampshire County (CAC), I invite you to sponsor the Inaugural Artifact Cider Project 10K to support public awareness of Child Abuse Prevention and the important work of the CAC. We are thankful to Impact Racing and Artifact for their commitment to raising awareness and inspiring us to begin a new tradition in Western Massachusetts.
With a rolling 10K course through beautiful Florence, MA, the opportunity for runners to learn about and enjoy what Western Mass has to offer, an after party at the Artifact Cider Project Cellar, and the opportunity to support children and families affected by child abuse, you won’t want to miss this event!
The CAC of Hampshire County brings together a skilled team of professionals to coordinate care for child abuse survivors. This past year the CAC served more children than ever before in our twenty-five-year history. Your sponsorship helps to ensure that all children in our community have access to a coordinated, culturally competent, multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child abuse in our dedicated, child-friendly house. Please consider being a sponsor of the inaugural Artifact Cider Project 10K and join us in addressing the issue of child abuse. Sponsorship information and event details are attached. If you have any questions, please call (413) 570-5989 or email us.
Sincerely,
Kara McElhone,
Executive Director
Impact Racing is a community of local runners who saw a way to connect two passions, running and having a positive impact by supporting local non-profits. They established the Happy Valley 1/2 marathon in 2015 and since that time have raised over $60,000 for local charities.
