April is National Child Abuse Awareness month. And sadly many kids in our community are not safe at home.

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Hampshire County is a child-friendly organization where kids tell their stories of abuse to trained professionals, receive medical care, mental health referrals, advocacy and support services.

Typically the CAC of Hampshire County hosts an annual breakfast during this month to raise awareness and to thank those who work tirelessly on behalf of children. Since we can’t gather together right now, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our community partners in law enforcement, health care and child welfare who put themselves in harm’s way to ensure the safety and well-being of the children of Hampshire County.
