Local author’s book will raise funds for the CAC

One of our long time supporters, Lynne Scott has written a children's book called Worth the Wait about the migratory Sandhill Cranes that have been nesting and breeding in Worthington for the past several years.

She captures this unusual phenomenon by telling the story of a little girl who awaits the return of the birds. Worthington resident Laurie Lemrise beautifully illustrates the story.

Each book sells for $20.00 and all proceeds from Worth the Wait go to the Children's Advocacy Center of Hampshire County! We are so lucky to have such thoughtful and creative supporters.
