The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hampshire County is committed to assisting children and families in dealing with the effects of child abuse. Counseling will be offered to youth who are experiencing trauma reactions that interfere with their daily life and ability to function as a result of having experienced:

  • Sexual Abuse
  • Physical Abuse
  • Commercial Sexual Exploitation

*BITT (Brief Intervention Trauma Treatment) Fortunately, even when children experience a traumatic event, they don’t always develop traumatic stress. In those cases, we offer a brief intervention of 3-5 sessions with parents designed to decrease the negative impact of the abuse by focusing on trauma education, symptoms, and coping skills.

All services are free of charge.
